This morning was a clear morning and I was trying once again to get a good photo of the our local breeding pair of square tailed kites. Once again I struggled to get the shot. These birds are rare in our area and have managed to produce chicks for the last two years. It has been a joy to watch the young grow up and leave the nest. The only draw back has been that these birds eat birds, including our domestic ducks.
I am happy with the photo of the sacred tree. We get the smaller local parrots trying to breed in the scares in this tree. As yet they are just not deep enough for a breeding tube. As time ticks on, scares will deepen, eventually we will get to enjoy the parrots breeding in this tree.
