Water in the Australian out back is a very rare and important precious commodity. It seems that when in the Australian outback if you are on a run and don’t want to get lost, you either follow a fence or a pipeline. We have pipes that go for hundreds of miles and fences that hold records as the longest in the world. I snapped this photo while out following a pipe line that was directing water to a the local town. The water is directed from a dam fed by the great artisan basin. Once again the outstanding beauty of the outback is on show.
